Good Afternoon Dragons,

We are once again reaching out to you to help support our Kids Christmas Store in the district as we work to encourage elementary age students to engage in our accelerated reader program. Please bring any and all donations to the VFHS office and help make this a great event for out students around the Holiday season.

As the semester comes to a close, we are excited to share details about several important upcoming events for our students. Please mark your calendars for the following dates and times.

Key End-of-Semester Dates and Events
Fall Play 2 pm December 14th and 7 pm December 15th in the USD 338 East Gym.
December 16th: 6-12th Holiday Concert 6:30 pm USD 338 East Gym

Final Exams:
Dates: December 15th through December 18th (make-ups the morning of the 19th as needed).
Students should check with their teachers for specific subject exam times and study guides. Please ensure your student(s) are present, rested and focused during this time.

Last Day of Classes:
Date: December 19, 2025 dismissal at 12:30 pm

Semester Awards Ceremony:
Join us as we recognize students for their outstanding academic achievements, citizenship, and progress throughout the semester.
Date: December 10th
Time: 2:45 pm
Location: USD 338 West Gym

Fall Semester Grades:
Fall 2025 Final grades will be available via PowerSchool by January 9, 2026. If you would like a paper copy please contact Brenda in the VFHS Office.

Please ensure your student checks the Lost and Found before 12/19/2025 in the VFHS office.

Reminder for tonight's YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS
PARENT MEETING ON DECEMBER 3 AT 6PM IN BAND ROOM
Members of The Guidance Center from Leavenworth will be coming to present on topics from stress management, substance use, suicidal thoughts, and self-harm. Each topic will cover warning signs, protective factors, how to approach your kids if you suspect them of struggling with some of these topics, and next steps. The speakers will offer resources and handouts for The Guidance Center programs and services. The target audience is Parents, Teachers, Coaches and anyone who works with children.

HSBB games at Troy will play as scheduled starting at 4:30pm. Fans driving to Troy, do not take 180th, stay on K7 all the way to Hwy36.

No School tomorrow 12/2/25. A decision on activities will be made midday.

Due to only playing 1/2 JV Girls game tomorrow, games will start at 4:30pm in Troy. All games will be in one gym.

MSGBB:
The game against Riverside tonight (12/1) has been CANCELED and will not be made up. There will also be no MSGBB practice tonight.

There will be NO afternoon Pre-K today. Stay safe and warm!

Mrs. Penry's Fifth Grade Class presented "The Pilgrims' Arrival: Thanksgiving at Plymouth" today. Good job students! Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and a great weekend!

Late Night begins in 76 minutes! Come hungry and ready to have some fun with a wide variety of activities. Baked Potato Bar begins at 5:30 pm. with $10 cash, or checks payable to Valley Falls After Prom. Lots of great auction baskets, payable with cash or checks to Valley Falls PTO. Hope to see you soon!

Late Night fun and auctions that you won't want to miss! Here's the schedule for the evening and the class themes for the
live auction. The baskets are fantastic! There are also baskets for silent auction, so lots of opportunities for you to support the classes and get some Christmas shopping done. Checks and cash accepted.
