Happy Teacher Appreciation Day to all of our great teacher! You are awesome and we appreciated everything you do to educate our students! Thank you!

Last Friday was a busy day! Brooklynn Schmelzle signed to run Cross Country with the Peru State Bobcats of Nebraska. She has done a great job representing the Dragons at Cross Country meets and we wish her the best at Peru State! The Journalism class did a Pie in the Face fundraiser, giving people a chance to vote with their money to see which HS teachers would get a creme pie in the face. A twist was added when the last pie was auctioned off to see which person would get to pie Mrs. Ellerman, with the funds going to FCCLA. Several hundred dollars were raised and the enthusiasm was fantastic!

May 4-8 is National Teacher Appreciation Week, and we want to say "THANK YOU" to all of our teachers and staff! This week would be a great time to show them your appreciation for what they do everyday.

Congratulations to Layne Adcock for winning the Washburn Tech all student car show on May 1st. Congrats to Layne!

The AR Store is up and running today! These readers have a lot of prizes to choose from and are getting help from their teachers and high school students. Thank you to those who donated and helped in some way to make this a fun experience for the kids. High school students also helped at the Food Pantry. They cleaned and organized shelves, refrigerators and storage areas, plus decorated the flower boxes outside. The results were impressive and appreciated.
