We have some very special features at this year's Health & Wellness Night on April 23rd. Life Star of Kansas will be landing on our football field at approximately 6:00 pm, and will be letting the public get an up-close view of the helicopter. Since 1988 Life Star has been providing critical care transport services, including trauma, cardiac, and pediatric care, to communities in Kansas. Come check it out!
And we can't forget Sally Ride or Queen Elizabeth... Great job kids!

We thought we would share some of the fun activities that Dragon Softball Ladies were up to today. Our Head Coach surprised the girls with an Egg Hunt to end practice today. They had a blast looking all over the field to find the eggs.
Warmer weather got you itching to ride a bike? If so, make sure you and your family are as safe as possible. Helmets are appropriate for bicycling and should be worn by everyone – adults and children – on every bike ride regardless of the length of the ride. Don't have a helmet? Plan to attend our Health & Wellness Event on Wednesday, April 23rd from 6:00-7:30 pm. We will be handing out free bicycle helmets while supplies last. Hope to see you there!

Come walk the track and view the Book Walk provided by the library. If you build up a thirst, you can check out our healthy drink and snack options at the concession stand. Good evening. We are headed into the home stretch with just over a month left in the year, time has sure flown by and seems to be speeding up. Spring sports are at mid-season and we are finishing up state assessments this week. Prom is April 26th at Township Hall and Red Carpet starts at 7:30 pm. We are zooming through the school year! Our State Assessments will wrap up this month! Please watch your child's book bag for information on field trips and special activities coming up. Spring is a very busy time of the year.

Middle School Track will be back at it tomorrow April 15th at JCN. The meet will be in Winchester with field events starting at 2:00 p.m. and running events starting at 2:30 p.m.

Just a reminder about the upcoming tournament games and gate fees for baseball and softball.
Baseball: $5.00 Gate Fee for all Adults and K-12 at Silver Lake today and Saturday . Dragon Baseball will play at 4pm and 6pm today. Saturday game times TBD.
Softball: $6.00 Gate Fee for Adults and $4.00 for K-12. No passes allowed. Weekend pass will be $10.00 for adults and $6.00 for K-12. Dragon Softball will play on Friday at approximately 6:30pm and Saturday at 10:00am & 4:00pm.
