Lady Dragons had a nice early Saturday morning run at the Pleasant Ridge meet. Brooklynn Schmelzle placed 8th and Dakota Boyce placed 17th. Dragons had 6 seasonal PR's and three career PR's. Great job ladies.

There will be NO JVHS Volleyball Tourney tomorrow at Mission Valley.
Have an outdoor project that needs done before winter hits? Does your garage need a clean-out and sweeping? VFHS students will be out helping community members (senior members have priority) with miscellaneous outdoor projects on Friday, October 17, from about 8:00 am-Noon, as part of their Service Learning Day. Students cannot use power tools, be on ladders or lift anything over 20 lbs.. If you are interested, please contact Brenda in the HS office at 785-945-3229 asap so plans can be made to help you out!


Today 10/9 High School Volleyball will leave for Riverside at 3:00 pm. The order of games is C-Team, JV, and then Varsity all played on one court. C-Team and JV are best 2 of 3 with Varsity being best 3 of 5. C-Team is scheduled to start at 5pm. Games will be played at Riverside Elementary, 204 N 12th St, ELWOOD, KS 66090

Varsity and JV volleyball will leave tomorrow from Valley Falls at 4:30pm as we play the second and third games at Pleasant Ridge.

VFHS hosted the Valley Falls Invitational Volleyball Tournament today. There was a lot of high caliber volleyball played. Your Lady Dragons played very tough against great competition. The overall Champion was the Axtell Eagles.
