Parents: Fall practices will start on Monday, August 19th. In order for your student to participate, we must have a copy of their physical as well as their appendix forms. Kindergarten Information for the start of the upcoming school year. Our First day of classes on August 20 will dismiss at 11 for all students in attendance. Parents are welcome to attend this first morning and help us celebrate the beginning of another school year! Kindergarten students will attend half days dismissing at 11:15 starting August 21st through August 30th. Kindergarten students will begin full-day on September 3rd. Teachers will be sending out information about ASQ which will need to be completed by parents and can be done on line. Looking forward to an exciting school year!!

We want to officially welcome Tony Nichols as our new Transportation Director for USD #338. Tony is a 1987 graduate of VFHS and lives with his wife, Penny, of 36 years in Topeka. They have five daughters and one son, and 17 grandchildren! Tony served 24 years in the Army and had been retired five years before taking the Director position. He's been busy working since May, and is looking forward to school starting. When not working, he enjoys gardening, fishing, hunting, and camping.
