Currently the USD 338 Site Council is looking to fill two at larger seats for our Site Council. Site Council meets 4-5 times on Wednesday evenings throughout the school year to review plans, events, and processes throughout the district. Just a reminder that Senior banner pictures will be tomorrow Wednesday, August 28th beginning 7th hr through seminar. Payment of $35 to VFHS Journalism is due at the time of the picture. All Seniors are encouraged to participate as clubs, etc. can be listed vs team sports as well.

Reality U
Have you ever paid a bill? Are you 18 or older? Would you like to have fun helping students at Valley Falls practice finances? YES! Then, please join us as a volunteer for Reality U's financial simulator.
USD 338 will be hosting Reality U for our 8th and 10th grade students on the morning of September 9, 2024 in the east gym. The student session will be from 9:30 to 11:00
We need 24 volunteers and you will be trained. Contact john.hamon@vfalls338.com if you can help. Time for volunteers would be from 9:00 to 11:00.
What does it look like to volunteer? The students take a pre-survey of what they want their life to look like at 26 years old. When they arrive at Reality U, they will get a paycheck based on their survey and need to go pay their bills for the month! Volunteers will get to run a booth as a sales rep for housing, phone, transportation, and more! The booth info and training will be provided. We just need YOU! Together, we get to help students connect their current education with their financial future! Valley Falls schools participated in Reality U last year and it was a great experience for both students and volunteers!
