Practice and Game Update for MSGBB:
A Team will practice from 6am-7:30am on Tuesday, November 29th. No B or C Team practice.
C Team and a few B Team players will travel to Oskaloosa on Wednesday, November 30th, to play. Game time on Wednesday is 4:30pm. Team will stop at Casey’s on the way home. NO A Team practice on Wednesday.
A Team only on Thursday and Friday after school. Will dismiss at 5pm on Friday, regular time on Thursday.

Congratulations to all the new VFHS National Honor Society Inductees for the 2022-23 school year and wells wishes of continued success to our returning members who were inductees last year.
Reminder, MS (6th-8th) dance tonight from 8:00-10:00 p.m. in the lunchroom. Enter by elementary office doors. $1 to get in, no re-entry. Once students arrive, they may not leave until the dance is over at 10:00. If a student must leave earlier, a parent confirmation with Mrs. Hale is required. Looking forward to a great evening!

FFA members and Ms. Ebersole presented at the BOE meeting. They talked about the awesome experience they had at the FFA conference in Indianapolis. They did a great job!
The USD 338 Board of Education met last night. Action items that were approved:
* Jesse Nickelson appointed as board member for Position #6
* Day off for students on 2/15/23. Valley Falls will be hosting NEKL Forensics on this day
* Admission Prices for Athletics (retroactive to 10/17/22). Middle School $3 and $5 for students and adults. High School will be $4 and $6 for students and adults. The price increase will help the district capture additional revenue for our student activities which do not make money.
* The BOE meeting for December has been moved to Wednesday, December 14 at 6:30 pm in the library.
* The layout for the football field and track was approved. Highlights of this include moving the goal posts 15 ft to the west, and having the long jump, triple jump, and high jump on the east side inside the track. The hope is to expand the parking on the east side further south.
