Winter is in the air and tonight's forecast indicates we will have our first measurable snowfall of the year predicted. VFHS students and staff have been busy in the month of October and to start November. The Drama Dragons finished the play last week during buffer week with "Murder at the Orient Express." Two Valley Falls High School students are putting together a cookbook with recipes from the community for their SPARKS project. Their plan is to collect recipes, create a cookbook to sell at local sporting events and school related functions. Their plan is to donate any profit to local charities to directly impact the community. VFHS students spent the morning doing community service with the Clothes Closet and preparing for the Valley Falls Holiday in the Park display. Awesome job giving back Dragons!!

Freshmen PE/ health, lifetime PE, and FFA did some awesome Community service today at the park, at the clothes closet, and helped with preparations for Hometown Christmas. Awesome work everyone.




Hard battles tonight on the court against Oskaloosa for the middle school girls. The A Team pulled out a 20-17 win. Great job all around Lady Dragons!




Wrapping up Dragon cross country. Congratulations to Amelia Brown. She finished 40th out of 107 runners at state. Also congrats to the rest of the team on an awesome season. The team had 9 career bests, 53 PR’s, 57 individual medals, 4 team medal meets, 2 team plaques, girls were 2nd at league, and five league honors. Awesome job Dragons!
