Congratulations to our Governor's Scholar, Samantha Clark! As Valley Falls representative Samantha participated in the Governor's Scholars award ceremony yesterday afternoon at Washburn's Lee Arena with her family and teacher of influence Ariel Hinman! Congrats!
Welcome to Kansas weather!!! To dodge rain chances we are going to conduct our third through fifth grade Play Day starting at 1 PM today at the football field. Thanks for your flexibility. Stay tuned throughout the week on plans for kindergarten through second grade.

Today is National Lunch Hero Day! Dedicated to those men and women who make the cafeterias and the schools a better place to be. Well here at USD 338 we have these three awesome women, we appreciate all that they do! Thank you!!
At this time we are planning to postpone this mornings activities for third through fifth graders to next Friday afternoon due to wet conditions. We plan to have our kindergarten through second grade play day today starting at 1 at the football field. Crossing our fingers we have no more rain today! If that plan would change we will send another message. Thanks for your patience.

There will be an Academic/ Athletic Awards Banquet on Wednesday, May 10th starting at 6:30pm in the East Gym. More detailed information will be sent out tomorrow.
