Our Grade School and Middle School students were able to view the partial solar eclipse together on the playground. What a cool experience for all. Too bad we couldn't have taken a FT to a total blackout area!!
We have our fingers crossed for no clouds tomorrow that would block the viewing of the solar eclipse. The Elementary and Middle School building has safety approved viewing glasses for all students. Prime viewing time will be between 1:30-2:00. This should be a great learning opportunity!
Valley Falls USD #338 is accepting bids for Grounds Mowing. Timeline: April 8 - November 11, 2024. Applicants must be 18 years old and provide proof of liability insurance. Awesome work by Ms. Ritz to work through her Career and Tech Education Pathways of Journalism and Digital Media to procure a large Technology grant for tech industry improvements in our CTE classrooms! We now have two brand new Promethean interactive panels and software to have digital announcements in our commons areas! Awesome work Ms. Ritz and all those who contributed to the grant writing process!

Lady Dragons win 1st 7-6 over D-West. Came back from 6-0 deficit, awesome job ladies!
Reminder: 2024-25 Dance and Cheer Tryout Parent Meeting are tonight. Dance meeting is at 7:00. Cheer meeting is at 8:00. Both will meet in the West Gym.

We are going to go ahead with games as scheduled at this time. Start time 4:30pm at Maur Hill.

Good Luck to our Dragon Athletes today. The HS Track team will be in action at Lyndon today; the meet starts at 10:00am. The Dragon Baseball and Softball teams will start their season with games in Horton starting at 4:30pm.

Good morning all!! What a great day to start spring sports. Softball will be at Horton tonight start time of 4:30. We would love your support if you are able to make it out but you can also find us on Game Changer under Valley Falls Varsity Dragons.
Hopefully we can get it to livestream that game through there. We also want to show support for the Track team who's at Lyndon today and the Baseball team who's at Horton too.

The Alumni Baseball and Softball scrimmages scheduled for tonight have been canceled due to field conditions and forcasted weather. We are looking for potential reschedule dates, but nothing has been decided at this time. Thank you to all the Alumni players that were planning to play, we hope to get another date on the calendar.
