Our mail system is being explored by our PK students. They are learning about addressing and mailing letters, postal employees as community workers and the process involved in receiving a letter. Contacts from across the U.S. have mailed letters to our classes and students are putting stars on the map to show where the letters were mailed from.
Congratulations to our School Spelling Bee Champions and Runner Ups. 5th-6th: Champion Zevah Sears & Runner-up Bailey Marshall. 7th-8th: Champion Avery Adcock & Runner-up Olivia Partridge.

Miss Heineken surprised the Chemistry class this morning and turned the lesson into a sweet treat of ice cream! Students analyzed the effect of ice alone and ice with salt added, and rolled their bags till the treat was ready to eat. Meanwhile, some of our younger students were learning and having fun in both gyms.
USD 338 Board Members Leading for Success
January is School Board Recognition Month, a great opportunity to say thank you to the USD 338 Valley Falls Board of Education who are committed to the success of every student in our community.
Our board of education includes (from L to R) Jesse Nickelson, Aaron Sprang, Donny Smith, Caleb Clark, Kimberly Kirkham, Jami Heinen, and Jesica Clark.
These seven community leaders volunteer hundreds of hours attending meetings, reading reports and discussing plans and programs to support educational achievement.
USD 338 encourages the entire community to thank a school board member, not only this month but throughout the entire year.
