
A Dragon Boys Basketball win (66-38) last night over the Oskaloosa Bears moves them into Friday night Sub-State play against Horton. The game starts at 6:00 pm at the JCN High School. With a win, they will play in the championship game at 6:30 pm on Saturday, March 2nd. GO DRAGONS!

POWERLIFTING TEAM MAKES HISTORY!
Congratulations to the Women's Powerlifting Team for winning the NEK League Championship last Saturday! This is the first powerlifting championship in school history. Contributing team members were - Paisleigh Heinen, Brooklynn Schmelzle, Caitlyn Tavis, Gracie Conner, Katelynn Yates, Skylar Neiberger, Jayden Senn, Maddison Conner, Calleigh Clark, Renay Myers, Lauren Brown, Taygen Pannell, Allison Thomas, and Korie Kirkwood.
Also congratulations to individual League Champions, and All-League Lifters - Hayden Kearney, Brooklynn Schmelzle, and Renay Myers.

Congratulations to the USD 338 FCCLA students and advisor on their performance yesterday at districts in Holton with their STAR events. USD 338 had 13 teams advance to state competition yesterday and one culinary participant that will also participate at state in Wichita for a total of 27 students who have qualified for state at the MS and HS level. Awesome work and congrats!

Our FCCLA members leaving for their STAR event early this morning. STAR Events (Students Taking Action with Recognition) are competitive events in which members are recognized for proficiency and achievement in chapter and individual projects, leadership skills, and career preparation. Good luck to our members as they compete with others from across the state!
