For those students with completed FCCLA STAR event projects that are ready for presentation FCCLA STAR events have been rescheduled from Feb. 19th to Friday, Feb. 21st in St. Mary's. The bus will leave no later than 7:30 am from the north side of VFHS on the 21st.

The HS Basketball games scheduled for Tuesday, 2/18 against Perry-Lecompton, will be moved to Monday 2/24, with a 5pm start time.

We are planning to continue with our Grandparents Day tomorrow. However, we fully understand if weather conditions will cause some to not be able to attend. Our crews have worked hard to clear sidewalks, etc. the best they can on our campus, however side streets and sidewalks outside of our campus remain snow covered. We will work to plan another outside picnic at the football field this spring that all will be invited to. Hopefully this will help accommodate those that are unable to attend tomorrow. Please stay safe!

If your student is signed up for Big Brother/Big Sister Basketball, the game expeirence that was to take place at Wednesday's game will now take place at tomorrow's rescheduled games. The games have been moved to a 4:30pm start.
The high school basketball games that were scheduled for tonight, have been rescheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, 2/13/25 (assuming school is in session). The high school will play all games in the West gym with a 4:30pm start time. The middle school games will be played in the East gym starting at 4:30pm. The order of games for the West gym are as follows:
JV Girls, JV Boys, Varsity Gilrs, Varsity Boys

Miss Stottlemire took 19 middle school choir students to participate in Mass Choir at St. Benedict today. The combined performance was fantastic!!
No USD 338 students will be attending Tech tomorrow. Currently Washburn Tech has announced their weather closure. Highland Tech Center has not formally announced their closure yet. However, due to USD 338 inclement weather policy when USD 338 is not in session due to weather no transportation will be provided and attendance at Tech will be excused if they are in session.
