Washburn University Biology Department to Host Biology Night March
Topeka, Kan. – Do you know a high school student who is interested in studying biology, or in a biology-related field like pre-med, environmental biology, forensic biology, education or molecular biology? The Washburn University Biology Department invites them to Biology Night 5 – 6:30 p.m. March 12 in the north lobby of Stoffer Science Building, on the Washburn University campus. This event is free. The department requests that students register by March 10 at https://go.washburn.edu/register/biology2025 to receive a giveaway item the night of the event, however students who do not register are still invited to attend.
During this event students and their parents/guardians will have an opportunity to talk to biology students, faculty and staff, tour labs and classrooms and hear about student clubs. Students will also have an opportunity to meet with someone from Washburn admissions, sign up for a New Student Orientation (if previously admitted to Washburn) and register to win a Biology Department scholarship. There will be refreshments.
