High School Volleyball had their annual Saturday morning practice, brunch and class poster painting this morning. Keep up the hard work team!

Valley Falls High School is excited to introduce a new course for the 2025-26 school year, titled "Foundations in Personal Finance," from Ramsey Financial Solutions. The course is designed specifically for high school students. The course curriculum focuses on essential financial literacy topics such as budgeting, investing, saving, credit scores, insurance, taxes, W-4’s, W-2’s, and much more.

The celebration of a new school year continued with our annual parade this morning. Lots of spectators and Dragon spirit!
School began today with an opening assembly for K-6th, 9th, new students and parents. The energy level was high with our MS cheerleaders leading a spirit contest between grades (5th won), Sparky handing out hugs and staff introductions. Dismissal is at 11 am today. Full day tomorrow for all students.

Reminder High School Volleyball will begin today at 3:30, meet in Coach McAfee's room for required training videos. Also please remember to submit physicals and all other paperwork in order to practice.

This is a reminder that tonight we are hosting our PK-8 Back to School Night starting at 6 PM. Students are able to meet their teachers and bring in their school supplies. PTO will be providing ice cream sundaes in the lunch room. Other meetings happening include: Band instrument rental meeting in the band room at 6 pm for 6th-8th graders; 8th grade parent meeting at 6:15 in the east gym; and a 6th grade parent meeting at 6:30 in the east gym. If your student is planning on participating in Fall sports all physicals and associated USD 338 forms must be turned prior to students being able to practice on Monday! Feel free to drop forms off at the VFHS office throughout the day on Monday or they may be given to coaches on-site!
100 years! Our current HS building is a century old! We plan on celebrating this accomplishment on September 20 during Grasshopper Falls Day with tours of the High School. More details to come!
