KNZA 103.9 is planning to broadcast today's softball game versus ACCHS! Tune in live on the radio and come out to the ballpark on this beautiful day for spring sports! Go Dragons!!!

USD 338 will have a Health/Wellness Night and the Ribbon Cutting for our track and multipurpose room on Wednesday, April 24 from 6 to 7:30pm. We are asking if local businesses or individuals would like to donate items for door prizes. Small items that value $25 or less. Examples could be shirts, hats, gift cards, etc. Please drop off any items at the district office. We hope to see you all at the track on April 24!

On Friday during lunch we are proud to serve local beef to our students. Parents are always able to eat with their students. If you want to eat with your student on Friday you will need to notify either Becky (K-8) or Brenda (9-12) by noon on Thursday. Adult meal cost is $4.70 which will have to be paid by either cash or check.

The Spring 2024 semester is flying by as we enter April. Spring sports are in full swing, state assessments are almost complete and Prom is in just over a week! Thanks to Ms. Heineken and all staff members at VFHS today for coordinating viewing activities for VFHS classes and students for the eclipse!

Our Grade School and Middle School students were able to view the partial solar eclipse together on the playground. What a cool experience for all. Too bad we couldn't have taken a FT to a total blackout area!!

We have our fingers crossed for no clouds tomorrow that would block the viewing of the solar eclipse. The Elementary and Middle School building has safety approved viewing glasses for all students. Prime viewing time will be between 1:30-2:00. This should be a great learning opportunity!

Valley Falls USD #338 is accepting bids for Grounds Mowing. Timeline: April 8 - November 11, 2024. Applicants must be 18 years old and provide proof of liability insurance. Awesome work by Ms. Ritz to work through her Career and Tech Education Pathways of Journalism and Digital Media to procure a large Technology grant for tech industry improvements in our CTE classrooms! We now have two brand new Promethean interactive panels and software to have digital announcements in our commons areas! Awesome work Ms. Ritz and all those who contributed to the grant writing process!
