Just a reminder, students will be restricted to the bus that is on his/her home route. Exception to this rule would include consistent afternoon drop offs such as a daycare provider. This keeps the same cohort of students together for minimal mixing.

Thank you parents for your patience this morning. Glad the sun was shining! I know we ended up with a long line outside. We will work on making some minor adjustments in order to help with that as we move forward. We sure were happy to see all of the kids this morning! Reminder: Doors will open at 7:45 each morning. Dismissal: We ask for your assistance in helping us with the social distancing when we dismiss. Bus riders will be dismissed first. Walkers will be dismissed by grade levels to help with some of the congestion that occurs in the hallways. Thanks for your patience as we continue to adjust to the new restrictions in place. As you prepare to support our teams this week a few things you should know: 1. Mask required if you are attending the volleyball scrimmage and highly recommended at the football scrimmage. Social distancing expected at both events. Thank you for keeping our students safe.

Please do not bring sport drink donations to the scrimmages this week.

#DragonPRIDE safety measures #13: Classrooms have been prepared to support social distancing. Schedules have been adjusted to minimize the numbers of students in each classroom. Students will be kept in cohorts has much as reasonable possible.

#DragonPRIDE safety measures #12: Modifications are being made to recess schedules and specials to support social distancing. Strategies are in place for band and choir to help reduce the risk of spread.

#DragonPRIDE safety measures #11: If the district has a positive test, clear procedures are in place to contact trace and inform those who have been exposed. Dr. Hanzlicek will be working with the Jefferson County Health Department through this process.

#DragonPRIDE safety measures #10: Dr. Hanzlicek is in constant contact with Kansas State Department of Education, Jefferson Co. Emergency Management, and the Jefferson Co. Health Dept. to remain current on safety information related to COVID-19. She will communicate any changes.
