A big thank you to everyone involved with preparing the field to play today! It was truly a display of all the community coming together!
At this time Regional Games scheduled to be played here at Valley Falls will be played today beginning at approximately 3 pm. The beginning game will be Riverside vs ACCHS at 3 pm with Troy vs Valley Falls to follow at approximately 4:30 and the semifinal game to be played at approximately 6 pm between the winners of those two games.

VFHS SOFTBALL REGIONALS TODAY!
The Lady Dragons will play their first round of regionals at Riverside against Troy this evening at 7:00. We would like to see the girls off with a lot of clapping, cheering and waiving from all who can attend. The bus leaves at 4:30. Community will be lining up on both sides of K16 by the doodle bug trail around 4:15. The team, coaches and managers would be thrilled to see our home town’s legendary support!

Middle School field trip to Prairie Lake

8th graders made hot air balloons this morning. Hopefully, the rain will stop for a few minutes on Monday so we can fly them.

Thank you to Mr. Gish, Mrs. Guess, Mrs. Welsh, and Mrs. Walker for all of their help in working with our 4th and 5th graders in our outdoor classroom this week. What a transformation! Can’t wait to see the wonderful learning opportunities we will have this upcoming school year in this space. Great work everyone!!

The Valley Falls Rotary Club gave each 5th grader a dictionary and each 1st grader a personalized storybook. Thank You!!
1st grade picked up sticks and trash in the park today as their community service project. Then they released their 5 butterflies. They got caterpillars and watched the process of them turning into a chrysalis and then got to see the butterflies emerge. They have fed them sugar water and fruit for a week. It was a beautiful day for the kids and teachers!
Graduation 2021. The 2021 graduation will be conducted this Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 2 PM in the East Gym. The ceremony is open to the public with no limitations on attendee number, however, based on USD 338 Board of Education Policy masks will be required to enter the building. In addition, please try to maintain social distance between family groups as much as possible. Doors will open at 1:30 pm, you may enter at the west vestibule along Elm Street, the north doors going into the library entrance, or the ADA doors at the SE Corner of the East Gym. Baseball Regionals Monday and Tuesday at Valley Falls.
Game 1 Monday will be at 3:30 vs. Troy. We will be using the GoFan online ticketing system. We will have at least 2 entrances set up for fans, one to the north and one to the south. Must have a phone to enter with either the GoFan app or the web browser open so tickets can be validated. I will push out the link for the tickets soon. Ticket prices are $6 for ALL.
