Happy Halloween!




Amelia Brown will represent Valley Falls at the State Cross Country meet on Saturday morning at 11:10 at the Wamego golf course. Amelia holds our school record in cross country, made all league, and has medaled in every meet this year. Good luck Amelia.

Our local officers visited our grade school classrooms PK-5 for safety talks on Wednesday.

Progress for the week of 10/24-10/28
1. Poured Pre-K floor.
2. Started hanging exterior panels on Greenhouse.
3. Start hanging fans, drip lines, etc in Greenhouse.
4. Hooked sewer line up at South wall of Pre-K.
5. Started erecting multi-purpose building.
Work schedule for the week of 10/31-11/4
1. Continue with Greenhouse construction.
2. Receive insulation for Pre-K & Multi- Purpose buildings.
3. Continue Multi-Purpose construction.
4. Start hauling off excess dirt for all sites. ( this needs to be done by
the end of the week)
5. Rehang all temporary fence.




Just a reminder that the High School Football game tomorrow night will be in Ellinwood with a start time of 6:30pm.

Lady Dragons volleyball fall in two to McLouth in substate competition.
Lady Dragons compete today at Sub-State! Come out to JCN to watch them take on McLouth between 3-3:30pm. Shout out to the parents for a send off of tasty brunch and gifts, it is greatly appreciated! 💛🏐🖤




Congrats to the Dragon Cross Country team on an awesome season. Amelia Brown finished 9th overall at the Alma regional today to advance to state next weekend at Wamego.
Girls cross country finished a tough fourth place today at regionals. Congrats to the team and to the boys for a great year. Amelia Brown qualified for the state meet next week in Wamego.

4. Rim formed Pre-K slab.
5. Prepped pre-k slab for concrete.

Great job today Dragon cross country! The girls team took first place at the Lyle Alley - Jackson Hts Inv. Meet. 8 PR’s were broken today and Amelia Brown broke her own school record with a time of 21:44. There were 11 individual medalists today: Grayson Coleman, Thayer Coleman, Amelia Brown, Faith Hefty, Renay Myers, Maddison Conner, Gracie Conner, and JV medalists: Allison Thomas, Sieanna Ferguson, Caitlyn Tavis, and Lillyan Lloyd. Congrats to the entire team as they finished out their regular season with a strong day. They will now compete at the regional meet on Saturday, October 22, at Alma. Girls run at 10:00 and the boys at 10:40. Go Dragons.

All Juniors will be taking the WorkKeys test tomorrow morning. The WorkKeys is a state test conducted by ACT. Please make sure your student gets plenty of sleep, has a good breakfast, and is ready to test tomorrow morning.
