High school basketball kicks off tomorrow night at Oskaloosa. The Dragons will start the season with the JV boys playing at 5pm, followed by the Varsity girls, and then the Varsity boys. There will be no JV girls game. Good luck to both the boys and girls teams.

Big win tonight for both the middle school A and B girls basketball teams against Pleasant Ridge. Great job Dragons!





Congrats to VF FFA who took two teams to Leadership School to compete in Rituals (Opening and Closing Ceremonies) and Parliamentary Procedure on Friday, November 19th. Overall, the teams placed 9th out of 28 teams, finishing 8th in Parliamentary Procedure and 10th in Rituals. Awesome job FFA Dragons!

First day of Lil' Dragon Girls Basketball Clinic was a success! The girls worked hard, learned from our HS athletes, and had some fun in the process! We'll see our junior athletes again at Late Night on Tuesday night for the pairing of their HS basketball buddies.



Congratulations to Emma Gibbens for being chosen as a VFW Voice of Democracy recipient!! She received a cash prize and her entry will move up to the next level of competition.

Congratulations to Gretchen Hager for being selected as a Soprano 2 for the Northeast Kansas Music Educators Association High School Honors Choir. There were a total of over 400 students that auditioned that day, so no small feat! Congrats again to Gretchen!!!
