The Senior Citizen Polar Express Treat Pick Up was today. The choir sang Christmas carols, visitors received a box of treats and hot cocoa, then each vehicle stopped for a picture with Santa and his elf.

Wednesday's lunch will change to goulash (from white chicken chili). The rest of the meal will stay the same.

As an educational system we are experiencing some adversity currently with the new "no spectator" rule. Thinking about three teams who have contacted us to let us know their team is in quarantine, watching the MS girls play this evening, and reflecting on the emotion related to the situation, I write this post in hopes you will also reflect. Our students are watching how we deal with this adversity and the COVID situation in general. Are we demonstrating Dragon PRIDE? Will we allow this situation to define how we treat each other or who we are? This is the perfect opportunity for us to model the PRIDE expectations. Please consider pulling the positive from the situation and support our students engaged in activities. Let's celebrate that we are still in school face to face and continuing our activities.
