Hello Parents & Grandparents,
We are so excited to have you attend Grandparent’s Day on Tuesday, February 14th!
If you haven’t registered yet please call Becky at the grade school office, 785-945-3221, or email Becky, becky.nickelson@vfalls338.com. Please bring a sack lunch or sack lunches (sub sandwiches) will be available for purchase for $4.60. Please let Becky know if you would like a sack lunch when registering.
When you arrive between 8:15-9:00, please enter through the southeast gym doors. If you come later, check in with Becky in the office. Grandparents will be given a schedule of the day's events when they arrive. Grandparents are welcome to stay as little or as long as you like or are able to. We hope you enjoy your day!
Valentine Parties are on Feb. 14th in the classrooms starting at 2:30. Morning Pre-K Valentine Parties will be at 10:00. Grandparents & parents are welcome to attend these. Teachers will be sending more details for specific classroom needs.
Students are welcome to wear pink &/or red on Feb 14th, however this is optional.
Enjoy the Valentine's decorations PreK-8th graders will make that will be displayed at school and various businesses/nursing homes around town!

If you haven’t already, please let your child’s teacher know if your child will be eating a school lunch (sub sandwich) or will be bringing a lunch from home. This is only for Kdg - 5th grade students. Pre-K students will not eat lunch at school.
HSBB Update:
Due to Oskaloosa not having enough players, there will be no JV Girls game tonight. JV Boys will play in the West gym starting at 5:00pm. Varsity Girls will follow, then Varsity Boys.

Congrats to the Dragon Powerlifters on their success last weekend at Roy al Valley. There were 25+ schools from 1A to 5A with about 520 lifters. We brought home 3 medals with many personal records set. The next meet is this Saturday at Basehor, lifting starts at 9 am.

Please join us at 7 pm on Wednesday 2/1/2023 in the East Gym the make up of our rescheduled Holiday 6-12 concert. We will have the southeast doors of the gym as well as the west vestibule and north triple doors for entrance. We look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday!
