VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! USD 338 will be hosting Reality U for our 8th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students on the morning of September 7.
The event will be split into two sessions as below:
Session 1 - 8TH & 10TH - 09/07/2023 @ 8:30 AM - 9:50 AM
Session 2 - 11th & 12th - 09/07/2023 @ 9:55 AM - 11:15 AM
We need 24 volunteers and you will be trained. Contact john.hamon@vfalls338.com if you can help. Time for volunteers would be from 8:00 to 11:30. Thanks for your support of this great learning experience!
Are you interested in helping our school and also advertising in our sports programs? There are two levels of donations. Black and Gold Club is a donation of $250 and you will be recognized with a business card ad in our sports program for all of the fall and winter seasons for MS and HS. Dragon Club membership is a minimum of a $25 donation. This will put your family or business name in the program. Contact john.hamon@vfalls338.com SOON for more information and to be included in our fall sports programs. We need your information by the end of the day on Tuesday, Sept 5 to be in the program for next week. Names and businesses can be added throughout the year. Thanks for your support!
Congrats to the cross country team for a great start. Every runner medaled. Girls team took first place and Grayson Coleman won the boys' race. Great job.
Dragons played volleyball and football in Effingham tonight. Football boys played hard against a tough Effingham team. Cheerleaders cheered their first game tonight. A & B volleyball teams both came out on top finishing the week undefeated. Great job DRAGONS!!
Tuesday night the VFHS Varsity & JV played Maur Hill & JCN. It was a hard fought night with both teams coming away without a win. After a slow start against Maur Hill, Varsity came back and had some phenomenal games against JCN. In their first high school match, 11 freshmen contributed against Maur Hill & JCN, with our returning 3 helping lead the way. Looking forward to more great volleyball this season!
Hello all MSFB parents! Tonight the Dragons will travel to the hosting Effingham Tigers. The bus will depart from the school at 5:15. The game will start at 6:30! Please come out and support your dragons! Thank you!

We are planning our student pictures, fall sports pictures and Senior banner pictures. Pictures will be on September 6th. Knowing this information, those Seniors wanting to order banners will need to have payment turned into the office by 3:30 pm on Tuesday, Sept. 5th. Pricing for banners is as follows:

The HS Football Jamboree at Jefferson West High School start time has been moved back to 8:00pm. We will take a temperature reading at 6:00pm and check it with the KSHSAA guidelines to determine if it is safe to particiapte. Hello all! Due to the impending heat, the MSFB team will not be having a scrimmage this year. With that being said, parents are still welcome to donate gatorade or other sports drink to the football team. Fridays practice will still be from 3:30-5:15. VFHS volleyball served their season into motion last night with their annual sports drink scrimmage. Thank all of you that came out and supported the Lady Dragons. The team opens their season Tuesday, 8/29/2023 at MH-MA with JCN at 5 pm. We are looking forward to great season!
