We are touching base as a reminder of the upcoming parent teacher conferences next week to ensure everyone has the information needed.
P/T Conferences: Scheduled for October 24th from 4-8 pm and October 26th from 1-8 pm in the East gym. We look forward to working with all parents to ensure your student’s success while at VFHS. A conference appointment can be set through Brenda Lloyd at brenda.lloyd@vfalls338.com or (785)945-3229, if you are unable to attend in person please contact your student(s) teachers directly to schedule an alternate conference time.
We ask that the following guidelines be followed:
Please make arrangements for your children as supervision will not be available for them at the time of conferences.

Hello all MSFB parents! Today will be our last practice of the year! Players will be turning in equipment today. Practice will conclude at 5 P.M. please arrange to pick up your child from the north parking lot! Thank you!

Congrats to the girls cross country team for their first place finish today at Jackson Hts. Also congrats to Brooklyn Schmelzle for breaking her school record and for finishing first place. Other medalists included Maddison Conner, Renay Myers, Gracie Conner, Katelynn Yates, and JV runners Sieanna Ferguson, Caitlyn Tavis, and Layne Adcock. The Dragons will run on Saturday at Council Grove for regionals. Girls run at 10:30 and the boys run at 11:45.





On Wednesday, October 18th, the 9th grade class will be taking the Pre-ACT. We will start first thing in the morning, so please make sure your student arrives to school on time. If you have any questions please contact Stacy Cervantez at Stacy.cervantez@vfalls338.con.

The final phase of the track will take place this week! The striping of the track will be on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week from dawn to dusk. Please stay off the track for these two days. The track will be available Thursday morning. Thanks for your patience, we are almost there!!

MSGBB will need to be at school by 3:15 today. The games tonight will start at 4:30 and go B then A. If you have any questions email Miss Thayer or Mrs. Ellerman.

Hello all MSFB parents! Tomorrows practice will run 3:30 to 5:30. Please arrange to drop your child off at the practice field and pick them up from the practice field. This is the final full paced practice of the season. Tuesday the dragons will travel to Oskaloosa to play the bears starting at 5:30. Wednesday will be the final practice of the season. Congratulations to Brooklynn Schmelzle for breaking the school cross country record with a time of 21:25. She placed second and Maddison Conner placed 12th, both girls received all league honors. Grayson Coleman finished 8th which placed him on the 2nd team all league. The girls team finished third. Everyone had a super day with 11 career personal records.

Knowing that Parent Teacher Conferences are fast approaching, I wanted to touch base with everyone with plans for the conference times. Conferences will be held October 24th from 4-8 pm and October 26th from 1-8 pm in the East Gymnasium. Your student(s) will receive an open lunch ticket for conference participation.

Supervision will not be available for small children, so please make childcare arrangements accordingly.
Please enter the East Gym through the Southeast Entrance. We will have a table in the area for parent(s)/guardian(s) to sign in. The doors will open at 3:50 pm on the 24th and at 12:50 pm on the 26th. A waiting area will be provided in the center of the gym until teachers are ready to meet with you.
