Just a few more stops to make while you're at the Health and Wellness Night tomorrow night from 6:00-7:30 pm. Stop in and talk to Shalayne Richmond, LMT, about massage and wellness. Visit with the new team in town at Valley Falls Denistry, where they will be making balloon animals too. And, check in with Parents as Teachers to discuss their services. We hope you can join the activities!
The home baseball and softball games today will be played as scheduled with a start time of 4:30pm.
Go Dragons!!
Our Health and Wellness Night this Wednesday, April 23, will also feature two inflatables on the football field. What a fun way to get some exercise! And when you are done, go get your heart rate and blood pressure taken by Dr. Elizabeth Wolfe-Meyer, MD, from the Valley Falls Medical Clinic. She will also be scheduling school sports physicals.
HS Track this week!

Another special feature at our Health & Wellness Night is the Trikes & Goggles demonstration by the Kansas Traffic Safety Resource Office. This demonstration allows participants to see the effects of driving drunk. Good lesson that could save a life!
Want to encourage your kids, or an adult you know, to wear a seatbelt? Kansas Highway Patrol will have their "Seatbelt Convincer" near the football field at our Health and Wellness Night. Anyone who is legally able to wear a seatbelt only can give it a try! Hope to see you there!
Been meaning to improve your health but need some direction? Join Vanessa Gier and Allen Schoonover as they motivate you at our Health and Wellness Night to get started, or continue, on the path to better health! Vanessa will be leading short sessions of aerobics (beginning thru advanced). Allen will be leading strength training. It just might be the right fit for you!

Our 4th grade classes held a "Wax Museum" today. They dressed as famous people and told us what they had learned about their lives. It was interesting and all of the kids did a great job! Sharing some pictures of this activity.

Life Star of Kansas will be landing on our football field at approximately 6:00 pm, and will be letting the public get an up-close view of the helicopter. Since 1988 Life Star has been providing critical care transport services, including trauma, cardiac, and pediatric care, to communities in Kansas. Come check it out!
More pictures from the 4th grade "Wax Museum" today. Thanks to our teachers for everything they did to help their students with this activity.
And we can't forget Sally Ride or Queen Elizabeth... Great job kids!
We thought we would share some of the fun activities that Dragon Softball Ladies were up to today. Our Head Coach surprised the girls with an Egg Hunt to end practice today. They had a blast looking all over the field to find the eggs.

Warmer weather got you itching to ride a bike? If so, make sure you and your family are as safe as possible. Helmets are appropriate for bicycling and should be worn by everyone – adults and children – on every bike ride regardless of the length of the ride. Don't have a helmet? Plan to attend our Health & Wellness Event on Wednesday, April 23rd from 6:00-7:30 pm. We will be handing out free bicycle helmets while supplies last. Hope to see you there!
