The High School Athletic/Academic/Activity Awards Banquet will be held on Wednesday, May 7th at 6:00pm in the East Gym. This includes: Volleyball, Cross Country, Football, Basketball, Powerlifting, Baseball, Softball,Track, Band, Choir, Trapshooting, Scholar's Bowl, Forensics, Dance, & Cheer. We will also be handing out Senior Scholarships as well. Please plan to attend if you have a student who is involved in any of these listed above. The school will provide everything but side dishes. We ask that each family provide one side dish. Please no desserts as this is already taken care of. If you have any questions please contact Stacy Cervantez at the high school. Middle School Track is back in action today at Jackson Heights, field events start at 2:00 and running events start at 4:00.This is the last day for 6th graders as they are not allowed to compete at the league meet. Please have 6th graders return uniforms to coach McAfee by the end of the week.
Congratulations to Cassie Frakes who was honored yesterday at the Kansas Governor's Scholars program at White Concert Hall at Washburn. Cassie joined other students from across the state who represent the top 1% of Seniors in the state. Awesome job!

Senior Night for our baseball, softball, track, and trap teams was held Thursday night. Congrats on your success on and off the field/range in your time at VFHS we look forward to big things in your future as Alumni!

Thank you to all of those that helped with or came out to support our student athletes last night at the VFHS JV track meet. This was a historic event as the first HS meet held at Valley Falls since 2004. Thsnk you again to everyone, we received a lot of compliments on the meet overall. Congrats to all of our runners and throwers that did a great job in competition as well! Awesome job everyone!

Thank you Rotary Club for your annual trip to the school with dictionaries for our 5th graders and personalized "I Like Me" books for our 1st graders. Our students loved the books!




Home JV track Meet

On Friday, May 2nd Middle School Track will be assisting with the High School Track Meet at home. They are asked to work during their normal practice time, 3:30-5:00 pm. Athletes will be dismissed from the track as close to 5 as possible. Athletes should check out with one of the three coaches before leaving. Some events could last longer than 5:00 so please understand that some athletes might be helping a bit later.
