Technology Tips:
Having trouble with stable internet at home? Things to think about: Have you unplugged other Smart devices such as Alexa, phones, Ring Doorbell during instructional time? Is someone streaming video: Netflix, Hulu? These can slow your internet down.

Due to the increased number of lunches, new requests and delivery changes must be made by 8:00 AM for delivery on the current day. Thank you!
Also, no meal delivery on scheduled non-school days as posted on the school calendar. (April 10, 13)
Meals for Today Lined up and Ready to Load!

April's USD 338 Board of Education Meeting has been moved to April 6th.
A new era of learning begins tomorrow. The Governor's official stay at home order will not affect the current USD 338 plans for supporting our community as we educate our students. With patience and flexibility, lets make the first day a successful one for students and teachers.

Tomorrow is the first day of school! Post your first day pictures on Facebook or Twitter. Teachers and students, we can't wait to celebrate that first day of our new learning system.
New Teacher Pages for Parent Communication
Be patient as our teachers learn how to communicate with their parents in new ways! Each teacher will be posting messages for their parents/guardians on his/her page.

A big THANK YOU to those who have been helping with the lunch program, Dee Heinen, Cindy Morrow, Shelly Dollen, Vivian Bickford, Janet Nellis, Becky Nickleson, Tina Robertson, Dallas Clift, Rhonda Troxel, Lisa and David Abromovitz, Melvin Lockhart, Peggy and Gary Meyer, Brenda Lloyd, Cyrena Burghart, Susan Grey, Tabitha Fialkowski and Lorraine Gentry. Hope I didn't miss anyone -- we have had a great crew! Serving an average of 130 meals a day.

It is DragonPRIDE day! Looking forward to starting school on Monday. If you do not currently have internet access, you can access internet in the north parking lot at school and at Kendall State Bank. Please remain in the car while accessing to stay safe. See you on Monday!
Just a reminder that the district property is closed to everyone unless they are considered essential staff. This includes the playground and the football field grounds. Thank you for respecting this request.
“Back to School”parade
Friday night at 6:30pm, Valley Falls teachers and staff will be parading around town in our vehicles. We have been looking at our computer screens all week, and we miss seeing our kids! So come wave at us as we drive by. Rural families can park at the 4H grounds or football field parking lot, if you stay in your cars. Please practice social distancing!

Middle School students, when cleaning out your locker please take both math books home and keep them. We will be using them in the next few weeks. Also, please take and keep your planner. It should have log in information in it that you might need. Thank you!
High School students, please bring your iPad with you tomorrow when you collect your belongings. During your visit, you will need to connect with the district network to upload any new apps, such as Zoom, that have been pushed out for your online learning on Monday. Thank you
Thursday March 26th, by appointment only, buildings will be open to retrieve personal things and return district owned items. For details and to sign up for an appointment, visit our Facebook page or district website. Appointments also can be made by calling the district office.
