The high school basketball games that were scheduled for tonight, have been rescheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, 2/13/25 (assuming school is in session). The high school will play all games in the West gym with a 4:30pm start time. The middle school games will be played in the East gym starting at 4:30pm. The order of games for the West gym are as follows:
JV Girls, JV Boys, Varsity Gilrs, Varsity Boys
8th grade parent meeting scheduled for tonight will be rescheduled. Stay warm everyone.
Miss Stottlemire took 19 middle school choir students to participate in Mass Choir at St. Benedict today. The combined performance was fantastic!!
No USD 338 students will be attending Tech tomorrow. Currently Washburn Tech has announced their weather closure. Highland Tech Center has not formally announced their closure yet. However, due to USD 338 inclement weather policy when USD 338 is not in session due to weather no transportation will be provided and attendance at Tech will be excused if they are in session. Have a good evening and stay safe and warm.
HS Cheerleaders did a great job with our Junior Dragon cheer squads tonight. Everyone enjoyed watching the fun!

Little Cheer Reminder: Please remember to wear your shirts, black leggings or shorts, and bows to the game. Due to the adjusted game schedule, halftime of the girls’ game is now expected to be around 5:20 PM. Meet in the music room at that time. Thank you!

JV Girls will only play 2- 8 minute quarters tonight starting at 4:30pm. This will push up the start of the Girls Varsity game.

MSBBB Update: Middle school boys basketball will practice tomorrow morning at 6:00 AM due to high school games being moved up tomorrow for weather. This practice is for players on the A or B roster. Thank you, Coach Glassel.

Spring 2025 is flying by as we are approaching parent teacher conferences on February 20th from 1-8 pm. All VFHS parents and guardians should have received an email with details pertaining to conferences and setting a time with your student's seminar teacher for conferences. The games scheduled for Tuesday, 2/11/25 at VF against Riverside, will now have a start time of 4:30pm due to impending weather. JV Boys and JV Girls will both start at 4:30pm with JV Boys in the East Gym and JV Girls in the West Gym.
