I would like to take this time to thank everyone for the kind words and support this past week. Receiving the Principal of the Year award this week, was such an honor!! What a tribute to our entire school district and community! I feel honored to have had so many phenomenal staff members in and out of our district over the years sharing their talents with our students! I have been blessed with so many supportive parents throughout the years wanting the very best for their children. I am fortunate to live in a community that bands together and functions as a family. I want to thank all of you for making the Valley Falls School District and our community the very best - in a league of its own!

Valley Falls Community Foundation is sponsoring a shoe drive challenge with the staff and students of USD338. If the teachers and students can collect 500 pairs of qualifying - clean, gently worn or new shoes, VFCF will provide an all school ice cream treat celebration.
Can you help us fill the boxes at the school with shoes between now and April 11th?
By having this shoe collection we have the chance to help families in developing nations who need economic opportunities. The shoes will be given a second chance and make a difference in people’s lives around the world.
This is a fund-raiser for VFCF to provide match money during our Give Back to Valley Match Day event that will be held September 20, 2025.
To learn more about VFCF please check out the website www.valleyfallscf.org

The PM PK thru 6th graders were treated to a very entertaining NED yo-yo assembly this week as the students returned from Spring Break and prepared for the beginning of State Assessments. The message was one of resiliency. N - never give up; E - encourage others; D - do your best....NED.

Congratulations goes out to Zevah Sears, 5th grade student, this past weekend as she competed at the State Spelling Bee in Salina. She represented Valley Falls well in a very competitive competition.
