Thursday: Black/Gold- Pep Rally is scheduled!
HSBB tonight at P. Ridge will be Varsity only.
The girls game will follow the MS game around 6PM
2 participants per participant/family and will sign in upon arrival
Tomorrow night at home vs. McLouth. Senior Night. Games start at 4:30.
Thursday HS girls at home vs. Burlingame starting at 5.

Congrats to the Dragon Family on collecting over 200 cans of canned goods for the local food pantry as part of Winter Royalty week. As a result Mr. Morgan, VFHS Principal along with Renay Myers (for an $50 donation to the food pantry) received a pie to the face! All in good fun and for a great cause. Great job showing your Dragon PRIDE!!!!

Awesome work the the Dragon advisory groups on their door decorating contest for Winter Royalty last week. The first place door was Mrs. Spade's advisory and 2nd place went to Mr. Schroeder's advisory group. Great job Dragons!

The middle school boys basketball game originally scheduled for tomorrow (2/17) has been canceled.
After speaking with Evergy, Jefferson Co Emergency Management shared that it is highly possible for additional rolling blackouts tomorrow. Because of this info and heating challenges within our district, 338 will be closed tomorrow, Feb. 17th.
The middle school boys basketball game at home Feb. 16th, tomorrow has been canceled due to the weather. It will not be rescheduled.

Congratulations to Cade Norris for being selected to the Kansas Eight Man Football Association Div. 1 All Star game. Cade was honored at half-time of the girl's basketball game on Friday by USD #338 for his achievement.
Clarification to the the closure announcement. Wednesday the 17th was scheduled as early release on the calendar. It will not be an early release day. It will be a normal school day. Thank you.

Renay Myers and Olivia Sprang organized a canned food drive for an FCCLA STAR event. Incentive for the food drive was a pie in the face for Renay and Mr. Morgan, HS Principal. They collected 243 cans - the goal was met!

The First Grade class has been reading the Humphrey book series. As a project they made their own Humphrey hats!
The Valley Falls High School National Honor Society Chapter held its 2020-2021 induction ceremony on Wednesday, Feb. 10. Six members were inducted who have displayed excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Those inducted were Avery Gatzemeyer, Serena Toll, Brennen Miller, Logan Martens, Aiden Sieve, and Trenton Kraxner. Congratulations.
