USD 338 board supports the continuation of mask wearing during school hours and afterschool activities for the remainder of this school year to keep our students in the classroom and actively engaged in the end of the year activities. If the mask is worn properly, the health department will not quarantine students who have been exposed to a positive in the classroom or during activities if both students are wearing their masks. We thank parents and patrons for supporting the initiative to keep our students on our campus learning and involved in activities. The board will revisit the mask policy this summer to determine protocols for next year.
The Valley Falls Elementary School would like to invite all local Veterans to our Pre K - 2 patriotic music program on Wednesday, April 14th at 6:30 in the school gymnasium (masks are required). We would like to thank you for your service and the sacrifices that you have made to help protect our freedom. We hope you will enjoy an evening filled with patriotic songs from our Pre K - 2nd grade students!
Sincerely,
The Valley Falls Elementary Staff and Students

Mrs. Penry's Kindergarten Music Class had a surprise this morning. They began class with an egg hunt. The eggs were percussion shakers that they used for music exercises.

The Kindergarten and 1st Grade classes got to spend an afternoon learning about corn production. Shelly Robinson from Kansas Corn Stem came and had a fun interactive corn production presentation for them. Then we also got to visit the fire trucks and fireman again. Thank you to Valley Falls Fire Department and Shelly from the Kansas Corn Stem Office.

Congratulations to Avery Gatzemeyer, MSC Sports Athlete of the Week!
