Reminder- Amberwell will be providing sports physicals for middle school and high school students during a one day event. Cost is $25 a student, cash or check only. Physicals are required before any athlete can participate in any sport practices.
Athletes must wear athletic attire. Physicals will be held in the West gym on Tuesday, August 2nd from 2pm-5pm.

Construction is underway!
Today construction has started on the building addition. Due to the location of the work, there will be road closures until this phase is complete. We will do our best to keep everyone updated as we have more updates to share. Here is what you can expect as of today;
Starting today, Elm St will be closed at Francis St. / 7th St for thru traffic. A portion of the West parking lot will be open and accessible from Elm St and Caroline St. / 6th St.
District Office doors will still be accessible by walking down Dragon Drive (from the Bus Barn parking lot). Exit Doors on the West side of the building by the fitness room have been closed during construction.
Timeline: July 26th to est. completion Aug 2023 (is subject to change without notice).
The closure is for the PreK building addition.

HSFB: For camp tonight, we will go outside, but we will start in Hofstra’s classroom. Come to the north doors by the locker room at 7.

Congratulations once again to Thiana Brown, 2022 VFHS Graduate for advancing to the FCCLA National Fashion Design Runway Show. Thiana has been selected through qualifying events at FCCLA Nationals this week to participate as one of the TOP 20 Fashion Designs in the nation.

Hello all! MSFB will be having its summer camp this upcoming Monday-Friday June 27th-July 1st from 8 A.M. to 10 A.M. The first day of camp will be held at the school. Please drop your child off at the west triple doors by the new gym. All reaming days of camp will be held at the practice field. All incoming 7th and 8th graders are welcome to attend! Trap Team participated in their State Trap Shooting event yesterday in the Wichita area. Everyone performed well after a fantastic year.
Sammi Clark got 1st place junior varsity female in the state tournament. Emma Montgomery got 1st place high female in conference.
Great job everyone!
Congrats to Avery Gatzemeyer, Brennen Miller, Trenton Kraxner, Dylan Cervantez and Carson Clark on being voted to the 2-1A All state baseball team. Avery was named Co-pitcher of the year for 2-1A!
