Dragon Fans, state was great. They have 3 State Champions, and five others made the podium. They set multiple meet records, set several new PRs, and even brought home a team 2nd place plaque.
Men's:
AJ Reeves - 3rd in bench, 4th in squat, 2nd in clean, and 2nd overall.
Hayden Kearney - 3rd in bench, 2nd in squat, 1st in clean (Meet Record), and STATE CHAMPION, (Meet Record for Overall Weight).
Layne Adcock - 9th in bench, 7th in squat, 7th in clean, and 7th overall.
Solomon Drinkard - 4th in bench, 10th in squat, 7th in clean, and 8th overall.
Dylan Herring - 10th in bench, 9th in squat, 8th in clean, and 8th overall.
Samuel Sitting Up - 15th in bench, 11th in squat, 16th in clean, and 14th overall.
Men finished 6th out of 25.
Women's:
Brooklynn Schmelzle - 8th in bench, 4th in squat, 5th in clean, and 5th overall.
Skylar Neiberger - 10th in bench, 9th in squat, 9th in clean, and 9th overall.
Madelyn Miller - 3rd in bench, 2nd in squat, 3rd in clean, and 3rd overall.
Lilly Darveaux - 3rd in bench, 1st in squat (Meet Record), 1st in clean (Meet Record), and STATE CHAMPION, (Meet Record for Overall Weight).
Renay Myers - 1st in bench, 1st in squat (Meet Record), 1st in clean (Meet Record), and STATE CHAMPION, (Meet Record for Overall Weight).
Lauren Brown - 5th in bench, 4th in squat, 5th in clean, and 4th overall.
Haley Nellis - 4th in bench, 2nd in squat, 3rd in clean, and 3rd overall.
