Lots of pictures from the Annual VFHS Cookout and Awards recognition this afternoon. Good food made by our students, great recognition of future leaders and lots of fun throwing pies! Today was the VFHS all school cookout and Spring 2024 student recognition assembly. During the transition from the cookout to the assembly we took pause for an all school photo honoring Mr. Bunde and Mrs. Spade who are retiring this Spring! We will miss their wisdom and leadership at VFHS. Both have dedicated their lives to education and impacting the lives of students for three decades or more! Thank you Mr. Bunde and Mrs. Spade!

2024-25 VFHS Cheerleaders

Last night we celebrated our students in extra-curricular activities and those students who earned scholarships at the activities and scholarship banquet. Thank you to the Valley Falls community for your support of our programs and for over $42,000 in scholarship opportunities for our students! A big thank you to Mrs Cervantez and Brenda Lloyd for their hard work on the program. In addition, a big thank you goes out to Mrs. Ellerman and her students for the pulled pork! Congratulations to all of our students who were recognized and their families!

HS Baseball / Softball Update: The games scheduled at home today against Onaga have been postponed to tomorrow, Friday 5/3/24. We will keep you posted of any other changes as we know them. Thanks!

7th/8th grade had a fun time climbing walls, playing dodgeball, doing flips, navigating a sky course/zip line, virtual reality and so much more. It was a trip well spent!

USD 338 celebrates Susan Grey and Greg Morgan today on School Principal's Day. Strong leadership is the foundation of a school’s success and without each of you that would not be possible. Your involvement in district-wide events and activities has made not only our campus, but our community a better place. Thank you for your exceptional leadership and guidance!

MST: The NEKL MS Track meet scheduled for Thursday (5/2) at Oskaloosa is being postponed to FRIDAY (5/3) beginning at 10am.

Reminder: The Athletic/Academic Banquet will be tonight in the East Gym starting at 6:00pm. Please bring a side dish. This banquet includes anyone who participated in the following: Volleyball, Cross Country, Football, Basketball, Cheer, Dance, Baseball, Softball, Track, Scholars Bowl, Trap, Powerlifting, Band, and Choir. Senior Scholarships will also be handed out as well. See you tonight!
