Weight Lifting has begun.

All athletes are expected to attend summer weights.  The weight-room will be open three days a week.  “If what you did yesterday still looks good today then you have not done much today”.  We need to set our goals high and then strive to achieve them.  Next fall will be here before we know it, therefore start preparing yourself today, for next year.   Enclosed you will find the weight-room schedule for this summer.  We expect to see all high school athletes in the weight-room prior to their lifting times.   We will have two lifting times: 6:30 a.m., 7:30 a.m.,   Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  The middle school students should show up for the 7:30 a.m session and they can be pick-up between 8:15 and  8:30 a.m.   Athletes will need to turn a weightlifting permission sheet in as well.  If you need to show up earlier contact Coach Bunde.   Everyone makes up a piece of the chain (team) if one link is missing the chain is not as strong.  Everyone is tired and has a lot of items on their agenda, but you owe it to the team to do your part to keep the chain strong.   Bring a GREAT ATTITUDE and a GREAT EFFORT to your workouts every day.   Talking about winning championships and mentally/physically preparing to win championships are two totally different things.  Talking about winning is easy and free.  Putting in the necessary time and effort to be prepared is difficult and very costly.   Invest in your future and enjoy the rewards of your investment.
