You can retake the ACT/SAT to: meet the minimum 21 for board of regents; increase score for better scholarship opportunities.

The next test date is December 12, 2009. Registration for the December test is Nov. 6^th.

The next test date is December 5, 2009. Registration for the December test is Oct. 30^th.
Both assessments encourage registration online but paper copies are available in the counseling office.

December 4th—Washburn, Senior Day; http://www.washburn.edu/main/admissions/visit-wu.html - Tour the campus, visit w/professors, and hopefully win a SU Scholarship or iPod!

December 9^th – Washburn, Garvey Competitive Scholarship Exam, Topeka, 5:30 p.m. Participants must have 3.25 GPA, submitted Washburn Admission Application, $20 fee, transcripts, and ACT Scores. Info. At www.washburn/edu/admissions, e-mail garveyexam@washburn.edu or 800-332-0291.

December 16^th – Washburn Application Deadline for Scholarships. www.washburn.edu/admissions

February 1^st – KU Honors Program, deadline for application. Must have 3.75 on a 4.0 scale and a 30 ACT score or 1340 SAT score. Application can be submitted online.

February 1st—KSU General & Engineering Scholarship Deadline.

February 1st—KSU Engineering Day for HS Seniors – Pre registration required.
