Flu Shot Clinic

In the Elementary Office

If you have BCBS, Medicare, Medicaid or United HealthCare the flu shot will be no cost to you as long as you provide a copy of your insurance card. Without insurance the standard flu shot will be $37. Sponsored by the Jefferson County Health Department.

Drawing Class for 10-12 year olds!  Class is Saturday, October 27th, 9:30-10:30 a.m.  Must pre-register by contacting the Township Library at 945-3990.  Class size is limited.

The Delaware Township Library's Story Hour program is on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.


Valley Falls High School Blood Drive
October 30th

The Valley Falls High School Student Council is hosting a Community Blood Center (CBC) blood drive on Tuesday, October 30, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.  CBC is the primary provider of blood and blood components to 70 plus hospitals and medical centers in the Kansas City Region, and relies on volunteer donors to meet the need for life-saving gifts of blood.

The blood drive will be held in the Valley Falls School Band Room (school address is 700 Oak Street).  Donors may enter through the North band room door located near the North parking lot, or through the East Gym stage area.  Please do make entrance through the vocal room that adjoins the band room as classes will be ongoing in this area.

The new statue at the Kansas State Capitol in Topeka is recast from one by Lawrence artist Jim Brothers on display in Statuary Hall in Washington, D.C.
