Treasure’s Report:
- Ending balance in April: $7943.45
- Payouts: $3,579.89
- Deposits: $3,683.78
- Current balance: $8047.34
Discussions/Issues/Approvals:
- Elections of officers were held, the same officers from this year will continue into the 2008-2009 school year.
- Approved to recognize Big Brother/Big Sister volunteers.
- Approved to recognize teacher and student for stocking pop machine.
- Approved two $100.00 scholarships for the seniors who had the most community service hours.
- Approved donating alumni banquet with items from the dragon store.
- Approved providing items for the Spring Athletic Banquet.
- Discussed the possibility of purchasing a “Standard of Excellence” plaque.
- Discussed different pop companies for the concession stands.
- Discussed potential purchase of t-shirts for students to wear during field trips.
- Discussed having a float in the 4-H parade.
- Two fundraiser companies made presentations. Discussion and approval of fundraisers for next year conducted.
- “Thank You’s” from Cyrena Burghart, Mary Herring, Brenda Lloyd, Brenda Henson, Trista Gish and Janice Maddox.
***The next PTO meeting will be 7/14/08 at 6 pm in the lunch room. All parents and teachers are welcome to attend.
