Treasure’s Report:
- Ending balance in May: $8047.34
- Payouts: $310.83
- Deposits: $1281.41
- Current balance: $9,018.42
Discussions/Issues/Approvals:
- Discussed and approved support for the Recreation Commission “Welcome Back to School” water games. PTO will provide ice cream and cups.
- Discussed and approved “welcome” bags for new teachers and “welcome” items for the preschool and kindergarten classes.
- Discussed use of school bus for float in the 4-H parade.
- Discussed fundraiser’s and potential “kick off” for September.
- John Shipley created a handbook for the concession stands.
- Discussed concession stand money box and options for keeping it secure.
- Discussed seats to sale at games, tabled till August meeting.
- Received “Thank You” from Janet Schmidt for Teacher Appreciation Day.
CONGRATULATIONS TO MORGAN RATLIFF AND REBEKAH BUNDE FOR BEING THE PTO SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS FOR MOST HOURS EARNED FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE!!!
***The next PTO meeting will be 8/11/08 at 6 pm in the lunch room. All parents and teachers are welcome to attend.
