ONLINE REFERENCES AVAILABLE

ONLINE RESOURCES
To provide our students with as much access to information at times when they can use it, the school library subscribes to several on-line database services. These sources provide reliable and safe information. Some of the articles have links to additional sites with related and authentic information. The subscriptions are purchased with a remote access option so that the students can use them from any workstation in the school and from home.
High school students are getting a bookmark that includes the usernames and passwords. Patrons may contact the librarian to get that information.
Here is a list of the databases and their descriptions.
Grolier On-Line: Includes Americana Encyclopedia, Grolier Multimedia
Encyclopedia, The New Book of Knowledge, The New PopularScience America the Beautiful, and Lands and Peoples. It includes a search box on the home page that searches all of these.
